Fit over 40 Fitness Journey. Post-pandemic Emily wasn’t feeling well in her body. She decided it was time to make some changes and get on a healthy track! She focused on changing her body composition, building strength and losing body fat. She shed nearly 20 pounds of fat, increased lean body mass and dropped body fat nearly 10% through her Hitch Fit Lose Weight Plan. Her fitness journey is still in progress! I had resigned myself to my 40 year-old, post pandemic, mom body.
It wasn’t awful, but I didn’t feel good in some of my clothes, and I was often tired, even after sleeping well.
I did exercise 5 days a week, but I wasn’t seeing much benefit and felt kind of lost.One day I ran into a friend whom I hadn’t seen in a few months, and she looked terrific! Not only was she slim and toned, she glowed of health! I asked her what she was doing, and she told me about Hitch Fit. I was a little intimidated, but her results spoke for themselves, so I knew I needed to at least try.
After a summer of heavy travel and loosing both my grandparents, I found myself weighing in over 150 pounds, and I knew it was time to start. Diana was great with providing me with exactly what I needed to start seeing progress immediately. The Hitch Fit community is so supportive and positive. You will really feel the love!
For me, the most important thing is sustainability. To keep the weight off and muscle on, you must make real changes, not temporary abstentions.
Fitness is a journey, not a destination, and I see this transformation as just the first marker on my evolution to having the healthiest, most fit body I can.
